Kano state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has approved the appointment of Kano Pillars FC ad hoc technical committee members to Board members of the club with effect from Tuesday, 15th September 2020.
This was disclosed by the chairman of the club, Alhaji Surajo Shaaibu Yahaya Jambul in a message sent to www.kano-pillars.com through the media officer of the national champions, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa.
Alhaji Surajo Shaaibu Jambul said their appointment is based on the recommendations of the club management on the role they played in protecting the interest of the club, Kano state Government and the good people of the state in just one year they served in an ad hoc capacity.
The newly approved board members are; Aminu Muhammad Inuwa, Prof. Musa Garba Yakasai, Alhaji Bashir Idris Mu’azu, Alhaji Rabi’u Isyaku, Alhaji Muhammad Musa and Hajiya Surayya Muhammad Aminu (Sai Mama).
The chairman charged the new board members to tightening their belts and work as a team for the success of the club in the forthcoming 2020/2021 football season considering that the club will be jostling for the CAF Confederation title.
He then commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his moral and financial support to the team.
Alhaji Surajo Jambul however said that the management of the club is waiting for the Nigeria Football Federation’s directives to commence preparations fully ahead of the new season.
Similarly, the Sai Masu Gida players have undergone a mandatory medical examinations Tuesday, 15th September 2020 at Muhammad Abdullahi Wase specialists Hospital, Kano.
According to the Media officer of the club, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, the medical examination the players was a tradition of the club to ensure that all their players are physically and medically ready before the commencement and during every season.
“We always abide by the rules of the NFF/LMC in protecting the lives and interest of our players as well as the club in general, Malikawa said.
