The management of the Nigeria Professional Football League side, Kano Pillars FC have given a four-day break to the players and technical crew of the club.
Spokesman of the club, Lurwanu Idris Malikawa Garu made this revelation shortly after a meeting between the management and technical crew of club at the chairman’s office on Wednesday.
Malikawa said the break starts from today, Wednesday 7th to Sunday 11th April 2021.
Malikawa said during the break, no player would be allowed to travel outside Kano because the reason for the break is to give the players the opportunity to rest and prepare well ahead of the kickoff of the second stanza of the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League season.
According to the seasoned journalist, the management has thanked Almighty Allah, Government and good people of Kano state for the successes recorded by the team during the first stanza of the league.
Also, the players, technical crew, supporting staff, fans and all those who have contributed towards the positive progress made by the club have been commended by the statement.
Malikawa further stated that both the management and the technical crew are working closely round the clock to reinforce the team with the needed and quality players to ensure the earlier targeted objectives have been achieved at the end of the season.
