Kano Pillars technical adviser, Ibrahim A. Musa has heaped praises on the match officials who handled the rescheduled Match Day Two of the ongoing 2019/2020 NPFL season between Akwa Starlet and the Sai Masu Gida on Wednesday, at the Nest of champions and described it as ‘top notch’.
The officiating was led by centre referee, Olayinka Olajide, who is also a FIFA badged Referee from Lagos state.
Musa who tested victory for the first time this season was over the moon when he described the officiating as an encouraging for the growth of the league and has called on his pairs to emulate from him.
He also thanked his players, the good people of Kano state and the entire fans of the club for their prayers and support throughout the difficult periods.
He said the club will soon go back to where it belongs and fight for the title.
“The league is still young and nobody can directly predict the winner yet so Insha Allah, we will ended up as the champions”, excited Ibrahim Musa said.
The national champions have ended their longest drought of 493 minutes without a goal in the NPFL.
Forward, Nwagua Nyima scored both goals in either sides of the game to give the Sai Masu Gida their first 3 points of the season.
