Kano Pillars FC’s rescheduled Match Day Two fixture away to Akwa Starlets in the ongoing 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League season has been fixed for Wednesday 4rd December, 2019 in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.
This was revealed to www.Kano-pillars.com by the media officer of the Sai Masu Gida, Rulwanu Idris Malikawa.
A statement signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the League Management Company of Nigeria, LMC, Malam Salihu Abubakar said ‘the Match Day Two of the season between Akwa Starlets FC and Kano Pillars FC have been scheduled to be played on Wednesday, 4rd December, 2019’.
With this development, the Aiteo cup holders will head straight to Uyo from Jos on Monday after their Match Day Six cracker with Plateau Utd.
The Sai Masu Gida will be visitors to high flying Plateau Utd on Sunday and would be hoping to turned their season around especially with the return to action of the club’s talisman and captain, Rabiu Ali.
The four-time league champions have started the 2019/2020 NPFL campaign poorly after recording just two points from four matches and are languishing on the 19th spot on the log.
