Kano Pillars FC chairman, Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Yahaya Jambul, has commended the performance of the club’s U15 team in the ongoing NPFL/LaLiga U15 promises currently holding in Enugu state.
The Sai Masu Gida U15 recorded maximum victories over Lobi Stars U15 and Enyimba U15 in the two group games played so far.
In the first game, Kano Pillars U15 beat Lobi Stars U15 by two goals to nil and then whitewashed Enyimba Int’l U15 3-0 in the second game played on Monday.
In a statement signed by the media officer of the club, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa and made available to www.kano-pillars.com on Tuesday in Kano said, the boys deserve to be commended for putting up an impressive performance in the two matches played so far.
The seasoned journalist further stated that, the chairman of the club and his management team were highly impressed with the way and manner in which the technical crew and the players of the U15 team approached the matches they played so far and urged them to sustain the tempo for the task ahead.
“We hereby congratulates the boys for reaching the quarter-finals of this important competition which will also be our first appearance at this stage since the inception of the competition,” Malikawa highlighted.
He called on the boys to put the success recorded behind them and concentrate on the task ahead by winning the competition at the end.
The Pillars upcoming generation are waiting for the competition organizers to release the quarter-final fixtures to discover their next opponents.
