Kano Pillars FC chairman, Alhaji Surajo Shu’aibu Yahaya has expressed his delight with the kind of performance displayed by the team in their recent league matches against Plateau Utd and Akwa Starlet.


The Chairman made this known in a statement signed by the Media Officer of the club, Rulwanu Idris Malikawa and made available to www.kano-pillars.com on Thursday.


Alhaji Surajo said the four points picked on the road against league leaders, Plateau Utd and newly promoted Akwa Starlet is a testament to the players hard work and commitment which he said deserved commendation.


He then urged them to be more focus and put their recent performance behind them when they files out against Delta Force on Sunday.

“We have a long way to go but we started seeing light at the end of the tunnel, Alhaji Surajo added.


He thanked the Kano state Government and the entire fans of the club for their support and prayers.


He therefore, reiterated his determination of giving priority to the welfare of the players in order to make them comfortable all the time.


The Sai Masu Gida have dropped 7 points at home this season and were able to recovered 4 off Plateau Utd and Akwa Starlet.


The Pride of Kano who are now 15th on the Nigeria Professional Football League table would welcome Delta Force FC on Sunday at the SAS Kofar Mata.
