Four-time Nigeria Professional Football League Champions, Kano Pillars FC have parted ways with midfielder, Nzube Anaezemba on a mutual consent.


This is according to the media officer of the club, Rulwanu Idris Malikawa in a released made available to on Friday in Kano.


Malikawa said the contract signed by Anaezemba elapsed at end of the 2018/2019 NPFL season and the club was keen to renewed the contract for the upcoming 2019/2020 campaign but opted to signed with fellow NPFL side, Lobi Stars of Markurdi.


He further stated that the Sai Masu Gida released the player based on the written document he submitted to the club’s Secretariat on Wednesday that he decided to join the Markurdi based side for a reason best known to him.


Nzube was part of the Pillars team that won the 2019 Federation cup, a title that eluded the Kano based side.


The club therefore, thanked him for the great service he rendered during his two years stint and wished him a successful career ahead.


Nzube had previously played for Enyimba Int’l and Rivers Utd in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
