Kano Pillars FC team manager, Kabiru Baleria is confirmed death on Tuesday evening at Doctor’s clinic in Bompai quarters in Kano Municipality.
Baleria died at the aged of 57 and is survived by his wife, six children and many relatives.
Late Baleria was a former National team player and previously among the coaches at the U-17 level and the U-20 national team.
Baleria died after a protracted illness.
Football family in Kano and beyond are trooping in to the family House of late Baleria located at Durumin Zungura quarters, in Kano metropolitan to to show their last respect to the late football icon.
The earlier callers includes former Kano state Head of Service, Alhaji Auwalu Na’iya, Permanent Secretary, Kano state Ministry of Youths and Sports, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmad Sagagi, former NFA chairman also chairman Kano state sports commission, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, chairman Kano Pillars FC, Alhaji Surajo Shaaibu Jambul, former Kano Pillars FC chairmen Alhaji Tukur Babangida and Abba Galadima.
Others are former chairman Elkanemi warriors FC, Alhaji Bashir Biso, Kano state Football Association executives under the chairmanship of Dr. Sharif Rabi’u Inuwa Ahlan, Kano Pillars FC players, technical Crew,management and club fans.
Late Baleria would be buried immediately in Kano according to the teaching of Islam.
