Kano state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has formally presented Kano Pillars FC Board Members their appointment letters today, Tuesday 23rd March 2021.
The appointed Board Members are Prof. Musa Garba A. A, Aminu Muhammad Inuwa (Chana), Bashir Idris Mu’azu (Jide), Muhammad Musa, Rabiu Isyaku Gama and Hajiya Suraya Aminu Sai Mama.
While presenting them with the appointment letters at the state Cabinet office, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje charged them to tightening their belts for the task ahead and to move the club forward.
The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the state Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, Wazirin Gaya said, their appointments is based on merit and urged them to used their wealthy of experience in the field of football to justified the confidence repose on them.
He also reaffirmed the state government commitments to continued supporting the club morally and financially at all times.
The Governor then congratulated them and wished them successful a tenure.
In his remark, Chairman of the club, Alhaji Surajo Shaaibu Yahaya Jambul has commended the state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his untiring support to the team and assured that the management and players of the team would continue to remain good Ambassadors to the government and good people of Kano state anywhere they found themselves.
Alhaji Surajo Jambul also pledged to work closely with the Board Members and the entire Sai Masu Gida’s family for the success of the team in the ongoing 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League season and beyond.
Responding on behalf of the Board Members shortly after they recieved their appointment letters, Prof. Musa Garba A. A thanked the Governor for finding them worthy and for approving their appointments and has pledged to justify the confidence reposed on them.
