The management of Kano Pillars FC under the leadership of Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Jambul have expressed their shocked and sadness over the demise of the former chairman of the club, Alhaji Danlami Hamza.
Late Alhaji Danlami died on Sunday after a brief illness.
In a statement signed by the chairman of the club, Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Jambul, said they were shocked when they heard the sad news of late Alhaji Danlami’s demise.
Alhaji Surajo described the former chairman, who previously served the people of Fagge LGA at the Federal House of Representatives as a hard-working and committed somebody who sacrifice his life in nation building.
The chairman then on behalf of the players, technical crew, management board and the entire fans of the club extended their condolences to the immediate family of the deceased and Kano state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
He maintained that contributions of late Alhaji Danlami Hamza towards the development of Kano Pillars FC can not be overemphasized and would not be forgotten in the history of the club.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and urged his family to bear the loss.
