Kano Pillars forward, Nwagua Nyima has boasted that the team is back to winning ways after testing their first victory of the ongoing 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The national champions came out 2-1 victorious over Akwa Starlet in their Match Day Two rescheduled fixture played on Wednesday in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.
Nyima scored twice in either sides of the game to end the Sai Masu Gida’s longest drought of 493 minutes without scoring an NPFL goal and moved two places above the relegation zone.
The former Go Round FC striker dedicated his goals to his team mates and the entire fans of the club.
He stated that the victory was a moral booster and promised to continued working hard to ensure the Sai Masu Gida drop no more points.
“We are back and we would continue doing our best to restored back our confidence and the glory of our darling team”, Nwagua emphasized.
