The management of Kano Pillars FC congratulated its Muslim players, technical crew, fans and the entire Muslims Ummah across the globe for a successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting.
The chairman of the club, Alhaji Surajo Shaaibu Jambul stated this in a statement signed by the Media Officer of the club, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa on Saturday.
Alhaji Surajo urged them to used the kind of lessons learnt during the Ramadan in their daily engagements for the sake of Allah’s blessing.
He described fasting and Sallah festivity as a time of sober reflection.
The chairman then reminded the players and technical crew of the club on the task ahead of them considering that the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League Season is expected to be continue in due course after the Covid-19 Pandemic.
“We are going to work together with players, technical crew and management to ensure that the team makes Kano state Government and the good people of the state proud at the end of the current campaign, Surajo Jambul said.
He also said that as part of his commitments to move the Sai Masu Gida to the next level, the club has created a YouTube Channel ‘Kano Pillars FC TV Channel’ so that fans and football followers from across the globe can be able to access all matches of the club as well as other activities.
The chairman then commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the prompt payment of club players and technical crew’s salaries despite the current challenges of CoronaVirus.
Alhaji Surajo Shaaibu Jambul prayed to Almighty Allah to bring an end to Covid – 19 in the state and the country in general.
