The management of the National champions, Kano Pillars Football Club has given its players and technical crew a four-day break after their 0-0 draw in the Nigeria Professional Football League Match Day 8 reschedule fixture against Nasarawa Utd, played on Thursday.
The Sai Masu Gida endured a torrid start to the 2019/2020 NPFL season, recording just 2 points from their opening four games.
The coached Ibrahim Musa Jugunu led side however turned things around and are currently 9th on the log with 14 points and have gone six matches without a defeat in the league.

The management decided that it is time for the club to go on break since their Match Day 11 with Rangers Int’l FC which was supposed to be played on Sunday, 29th December 2019 have been shifted to a later date to enable the Flying Antelope focus fully on their continental assignment.
Malikawa further stated that the players are expected back at the training ground on Monday, 30th December, 2019.
The seasoned journalist said that the team would leave Lafia for the Pyramid City Friday Morning with less than half of the players as most of them have traveled to their various states to see their families and love ones.
The management however extended Christmas and new year message to the Christian players and other Christian Football family in the state and the country as a whole and wished them a successful celebrations.
