Ahead of Kano Pillars FC crunch tie at home against Akwa Utd in the Nigeria Professional Football League MD16 on Sunday, technical adviser of the Sai Masu Gida, Ibrahim Musa aka Jugunu has made a bold statement that his side is going for all the maximum points.
The magical tactician made this known shortly after the completion of the evening training at the Sani Abacha stadium on Saturday. He said, his players are very determine to continued doing their best and would ensure the Pride of Kano ended the season at the top of the NPFL log.
The Arewa Sports Personality Award Association 2019 coach of the year has said that the Sai Masu Gida had already put the trauma they found themselves during their 1-1 draw away to Katsina Utd during the NPFL MD15 behind them. The Katsina mayhem leads to serious health injuries on four supporters of the club with one of them to undergo further tests on Monday as his ear got chopped off by the mobs.
He described Akwa Utd as a wounded Lion especially after their 2-0 lose at home to Kwara Utd during the mid week round of matches and urged his players not to take it lightly when they files out for the encounter.
“We know the match would not be easy because, Akwa Utd are like a wounded Lion especially after their 2-0 home lose to Kwara Utd on Wednesday but Almighty Allah will be in control and make it easy for us, coach Ibrahim Musa said.
He thanked the management and fans of the club for their commitments in moving the four-time NPFL champions to the next level.
