The League Management Company of Nigeria, LMC, has confirmed the postponement of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, Match Day 14 rescheduled fixture between Kano Pillars FC and Enyimba Int’l that was scheduled to be played on Wednesday 26th February, 2020 at the Sani Abacha stadium, Kofar Mata until further notice.
According to the statement signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the LMC, Malam Salihu Abubakar also said Enyimba Int’l FC matches against Katsina Utd and Enugu Rangers that was earlier slated for 1st and 4th March, 2020 has been called off.
The statement further said the postponement became necessary in order to give Enyimba Int’l FC an opportunity to prepare well ahead of their round of eight of the 2019/2020 CAF Confederation cup fixture against Guinean side, Horoya FC which is scheduled to be played on Sunday 1st March, 2020 at the Aba Int’l stadium.
The statement said that new dates of the matches would be communicated to the affected clubs in due course.
Therefore, the management of Kano Pillars FC under the chairmanship of Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Yahaya has wished the People’s Elephant a successful outing in their remaining matches and hope they would do everything humanly possible to win the cup for Nigeria.
In a statement made available to www.kano-pillars.com on Tuesday by the Media Officer of the National champions, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa said the entire family of the Sai Masu Gida are banking on the two times African champions and hope they would consolidate on their previous success recorded in the competition.
