Latest news reaching www.kano-pillars.com has it that the League Management Company of Nigeria, LMC, has lifted the 12 matches ban imposed on Kano Pillars talisman and Captain, Rabiu Ali aka Pele during the 2018/2019 NPFL Super Six with effect from Monday 25th November, 2019.
This is according to the media officer of the national champions, Rulwanu Idris Malikawa.
In a statement signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the LMC, Malam Salihu Abubakar on Monday said the League body have decided to lift the suspension based on the written apology it received from Rabiu Ali and Kano Pillars FC and the community services Ali partake in during the Ahlan Cup which clearly indicates his remorse on what happened during the 2019 Super Six.
The statement said that Rabiu Ali will now be able to face Plateau Utd of Jos in the Match Day Six cracker to be played on Sunday 1st December, 2019.
The LMC then cautioned him to remain good ambassador to Kano Pillars FC, the League Management Company, the Nigeria Football Federation as well as the community he found himself.
On their part, Kano Pillars FC, under the leadership of Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Yahaya has thanked the League Management Company of Nigeria for considering their request to lift the ban and assured them that the club would remain law abiding in all of its engagement.
While speaking to www.kano-pillars.com, Kano Pillars Captain, Rabiu Ali has thanked Almighty Allah for this historic day and has accept the situation he found himself in good Faith.
The captain thanked the LMC, the fans and all those who sympathize with him during the unfortunate period he found himself.
The living legend then urged the Sai Masu Gida fans to remain calm and assured them that the club will start firing from all cylinders.
It could be recalled that Rabiu Ali was banned from 12 NPFL related matches by the LMC during the 2018/2019 Super Six in Lagos.
